On Saturday, January 16th, the Medina Lake Volunteer Firefighters conducted in-depth vehicle extrication training. The training was made possible through the gracious donation of three vehicles in support of the MLVFD.
The firefighters were trained on the use of hydraulic extrication tools, proper glass removal techniques, entrapment scenarios and vehicle stabilization. All of these training elements were conducted with the goal of minimizing rescue extraction time while maximizing safety and patient health.
The mission and goal of the MLVFD remains as always, to serve our community and truly be “neighbors helping neighbors.”
